TUCSON, Ariz. - Tucson police arrested a woman who was allegedly involved in the shooting that occurred around 2 p.m. near 15th Avenue and Glenn Street on Wednesday.
Police say 45-year-old Nikki LaShawn Phelps-Kemp faces charges including domestic violence, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and weapons misconduct.
Per Sergeant Pete Dugan, a man was shot and sustained life-threatening injuries during a domestic dispute and taken to the hospital for treatment. Phelps-Kemp allegedly shot her boyfriend.
TPD Detectives conducted an investigation after the shooting and confirmed it was a domestic violence incident.
