A man guilty of a November murder was sentenced to spend the rest of his life in prison.
Police say 37-year-old Lamont Adams shot and killed 38-year-old Carlos Simmons Nov. 23 in the 2000 block of East Roger Road.
The jury found Adams guilty of first-degree murder in September.
