Officers identified him as 71-year-old Nihad Issa Ahmad Asad.
Asad was attempting to make a left turn onto Forgeus and was truck by a Kia on Ajo.
Impairment was determined to not be a factor.

An adult man was pronounced dead after a vehicle crash near the Kino Veteran's Memorial Stadium Tuesday morning, according to a social media post by Tucson Police Department.
TPD says the crash occurred at East Ajo Way and South Forgeus Avenue around 10:15 a.m.
Police say traffic detectives are investigating the crash, and TPD will provide more information shortly.
