Man dead in fatal shooting on Tucson's Southside

UPDATE (4:32 p.m.)

The victim has been identified as 31-year-old Adam Lee Arndt.

The suspect, identified as 20-year-old Jayden Betters, fled from the home on foot, but was quickly located by officers nearby.

Detectives completed interviews and after the service of a search warrant at the home, detectives charged the suspect with 1st Degree Murder

Tucson Police are investigating a fatal shooting that took place on Tucson's south side Friday morning.

An adult male was shot and killed at around 6 a.m. in the 2500 block of East Cambridge Ring Drive near South Tucson Boulevard and East Drexel Road, according to TPD.

One person has been detained.

The investigation is ongoing.
