Regency Beauty Instituteclosed its doors nationwide yesterday and a local beauty school is stepping up to help the students out.

Tucson College of Beauty is offering students a chance to finish their degree.

"We are willing to give them all the hours that they have accrued so far and then as far as financial aid we will do whatever we need to do to get them financially set," said Skylee Edmiston, with Tucson College of Beauty. "We have an onsite rep who is there every day of the week so whatever it is we need to do to make it work with them we are willing to help them out."

The Regency Beauty Institute says other schools will accept their student's current credit, but tuition will be decided by the new school.

Regency promised to find and create agreements between specific schools for students, but so far none are listed on their website.

Regency will open its doors for the last time tomorrow from 11 am to 1 pm for students to pick up the rest of their belongings.
