TUCSON, Ariz. — The final weekend for the downtown outdoor ice rink is January 3rd through the 5th.
This was the first time Tucson had an outdoor ice rink. It was opened for the holiday season.
This was a 350,000 dollar project between the City of Tucson and the Rio Nuevo District voted on by Tucson voters.
The ice rink is located at 45 N. 5th Ave. (MLK Lot/Depot Garage Lot).
All purchases must be made directly at the ice rink. Ice skates are included with the cost of all-day admission (no discount for bringing your own skates).
Skates begin at size 8 for children and run as large as size 15 for adult men. Socks are required, and gloves are highly recommended.
The final hours are:
Weekdays - 4-10 p.m.
Saturdays - Noon-10 p.m.
Sundays - Noon-7 p.m.

Adults: $15
Children: $10 (12 and under)
Skate assists: $5
Private use (during off-hours): - $375/hour
