TUCSON, Ariz. - Tucson's two La Salsa locations have closed.
According to the Mexican chain's corporate office, the company hopes to re-establish a presence in the city in the future.
"Unfortunately, the franchised locations in Tucson, AZ are closed," La Salsa said in a statement. "The decision to close a store is that of an individual franchisee, who is an independent business owner. Please know that, as a brand, we never like to lose our presence in an area-and we’re especially sorry when a store closure impacts La Salsa customers in the area. We apologize and hope to someday open new locations in your area."
The Tucson La Salsas were located at 1021 N. Wilmot Road and 3007 E. Speedway.
