Students at La Paloma Academy Lakeside are learning to serve others.
The children wrote letters to the men and women serving in the military overseas. The school says they want the kids to learn that November is a time of appreciation.
The students will focus on serving others for a week. Teachers want to teach them the importance of serving others during the holiday season.
On Wednesday, students will bring in pet food to support The Humane Society.
