Jewish Family and Children’s Services hosting a celebration of caring for local families

TUCSON, Ariz.-- The Jewish Family and Children Services is hosting Celebration of Caring for Tucson's Children Sunday afternoon.

The event will take place from 12 to 3 p.m. at the Scottish Rite,

JFCS officials say that the focus will be on reaching Tucson families, inviting children of all ages to enjoy food and music.

“We are excited to include other organizations with a child or family focus in this event so they can share about their services as well,” said Carlos Hernández, JFCS President and CEO.

Mayor Jonathan Rothschild and Edmund Marquez will speak about families and the Tucson community.

Nonprofit organizations, with a focus in child or family services, will show their program to attendees. These organizations include: Chicanos Por La Causa, Children’s Museum Tucson, Community Food Bank, and more.

The event is free and open to the public.
