TUCSON, Ariz. - J. Alan Goodwin was sworn in as a Pima County Superior Court judge Monday.
Before his appointment, Goodwin served as Special Victims Bureau Chief for the Pima County Attorney’s Office, where had worked since September of 2012.
He graduated from the University of Alabama in 1995, and earned his law degree there in 1998.
He served on active duty as a Judge Advocate (JAG) in the U.S. Air Force from 1998 through 2004, retiring as a captain.
