High voter turnout expected in Pima County
Posted
Pima County has historically had pretty decent voter turnout, and election officials expect the same this year.

Nearly 540,000 voters are eligible on Election Day and the Pima County Elections Department is expecting a 75-80% turnout total for this election.

At the polls, 110,000 people are expected to cast their votes. By tomorrow, November 9th, the department should have about 300,000 ballots back from mail-in voters

According to the Pima County Elections Department, there will probably be lines. However, they are not expecting people to wait longer than half an hour.
