Tucson Police have identified the couple in a murder-suicide in Eastside Tucson where a man and his wife were found dead in their home with a 8-year-old child survivor.

Police identified the woman as 49-year-old Cindi Wiley. The man has been identified as 53-year-old Andrew Wiley.

Per Sgt. Pete Dugan, TPD detectives suspect that the man shot his wife then turned the gun on himself.

Originally, TPD first received calls from neighbors about hearing gunshots from a specific residence. The next call received was from a family member who said they believed there was shots fired at the same residence, with a young boy inside.

Upon arrival, after failing to make contact with the residents inside the home, TPD officers forced an opening and sent in a robot with cameras to see the situation inside.

Inside, the man and woman were seen on the floor by the robot's cameras. Tucson SWAT officers then forced entry and upon discovering the bodies unresponsive, pronounced the married couple dead on scene with obvious signs of gunshot trauma. The couple's 8-year-old grandson was found inside by officers, unharmed.

The residence was located near Broadway Boulevard and Houghton Road in the 200 Block of N. Fenceline Drive.

TPD's Sgt. Pete Dugan confirmed that the investigation is still ongoing and that TPD's homicide unit is on scene.
