A preliminary hearing for a 92-year-old Arizona woman charged with fatally shooting her son has been canceled.
The hearing for Anna Mae Blessing had been scheduled for Friday morning.
Investigators say Blessing killed 72-year-old Thomas Blessing on July 2 at the home that they shared in Fountain Hills because he wanted to put her in an assisted living facility.
After the shooting, investigators say Thomas Blessing's girlfriend managed to take away two guns from the suspect.
Anna Blessing hasn't yet entered a plea in the case.
