TUCSON, Ariz. — The Green Valley Fire Department is responding to an aggressive bee removal in the 1600 block of South Abrego Drive.
According to GVFD, a bee removal service was removing bees, when the worker got attacked.
Bees got inside his suit and he was stung more than 40 times in the face, head, and neck.
GVFD say the victim, who is in his 50's, was rescued and taken to a hospital for evaluation.
The bees are still behaving aggressively. People in the area should stay inside their homes as a precaution.
Crews have blocked off Santa Inez to Santa Belia to control the situation.
