TUCSON, Ariz. — Who says you can't get into the holiday spirit in the desert?
A new display at the Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain in Marana does just that, creating a Sonoran candy landscape.
The set features a real Jeep vehicle, completely covered in gum drops, graham crackers, marshmallow, chocolate and more, along with a candy Saguaro and chocolate javelinas! The resort says the project took its pastry chefs more than 250 hours to complete and consists of 500 pounds of candy and 1,000 gingerbread tiles.
Even the sand beneath the Jeep is made of crushed graham crackers!
Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain says the display will be available for public viewing from now until Dec. 30.
