TUCSON, Ariz. — GEICO is expanding in Tucson.
Crews are wrapping up on a new office building. The insurance company held a ribbon-cutting at the new facility Tuesday.
On July 12, all 1,500 workers will be moving from the current eastside offices to the new office on the south side. GEICO says they'll be able to grow with this extra space. They want to hire 700 more people in the coming months.
"The Tucson community is a great place to hire team members to join our GEICO family and serve all of our customers and policy holders," GEICO regional vice president Michelle Trindade said.
