Fourth Avenue Winter Street Fair returns this weekend, celebrating 50 years

TUCSON, Ariz. — If you're looking for some last minute holiday gift ideas, Fourth Avenue has you covered this weekend.

The 50th annual Fourth Avenue Winter Street Fair returns to the Old Pueblo Dec. 13-15 with artists from around the world and local merchants making their work available for purchase.

Here you'll find jewelry, sculptures, pottery, homemade soap and metalworks just to name a few, guaranteeing that you'll take home something unique.

Of course, plenty of local food and entertainment options will be there as well.

The fair begins at 10:00 a.m. each day and runs until Dusk. Pets are not allowed.

"The Fair is produced by the North Fourth Avenue Merchants Association, Inc., a local nonprofit. The funds are used to support the Avenue’s infrastructure, invest in local neighborhoods and other nonprofits, and to create other free community events throughout the year on Historic Forth Avenue," Fourth Avenue said about the event.

Here is a list of road closures:

-Fourth Avenue from University Boulevard to Eighth Street With the Exception of Sixth Street

-Fourth Street and Seventh Street from Third Avenue to Fifth Avenue

-Fifth Street from Third Avenue to Herbert Avenue

-Eighth Street from Hoff Avenue to Fourth Avenue

-Herbert Avenue from Sixth Street to Eighth Street
