TUCSON, Ariz. - Former University of Arizona football player Rob Gronkowski has decided to retire from his football career with the New England Patriots.
Robert Gronkowski was drafted for the NFL in 2010. Today he has made the decision to retire just before turning 30.
Mr. Grownkowski has been with the Patriots for approximately nine years.
He has won three Super Bowls with the team. Grownkowski has also endured injuries during his football career.
Mr. Grownkowski was tight end for the Patriots.
He is a former athlete from the University of Arizona from 2007 until 2009.
In a caption on Instagram he expressed gratitude about the last nine years. In the caption he also thanked Mr. Kraft and Coach Belichick and all of his past and current teammates for his career with them.
