TUCSON, Ariz. — Former Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos tells us that he's running for sheriff in 2020.
He plans to file his paperwork tomorrow in the Pima County Recorder's Office.
Nanos lost to Sheriff Mark Napier in 2016 after an FBI investigation.
Nanos tells us tonight he made the decision after Napier was given the Vote of No Confidence by the largest union.
He says he's received numerous calls from staff and civilians who said they want their department back.
