Former doctor arrested for attempting to have patient killed

UPDATE 5:05p.m. - Federal agents arrested Glenn Gary Robertson at a Benson home on March 5th. The FBI, DEA and the state Attorney General's Office special agents are investigating.

We searched his medical license profile. We found the following actions taken against Dr. Robertson:

  • 2009 - the Arizona Medical Board placed Robertson on probation for 2 years, after questions arose about his prescribing medication to an employee.
  • June 2018 - the board received another complaint about Robertson's behavior, with allegations he sold narcotic prescriptions.
  • Dec. 14, 2018 - the Arizona Medical Board revoked his license.

There are a number of other allegations listed on his medical license profile, but the only criminal charge he's facing is first-degree conspiracy to commit murder. Robertson is due in judicial court on Mar. 19.

TUCSON, Ariz. - A former doctor was arrested and accused of conspiracy to commit murder.

According to Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich, Glenn Gary Robertson planned to have a former patient murdered. He was arrested at a Benson home.

The FBI, DEA and Arizona Attorney General's Office special agents investigated the case.

He was booked into jail on a $1 million bond.
