First responders from all across Tucson joined forces on Tuesday, September 11th to commemorate the attacks 17 years ago.
Members of the Tucson Fire Department, Tucson Police, personnel from Davis-Monthan and others took part in the 9/11 tower challenge.

The event is done not only to remember the lives lost during 9/11 but also to experience, in a way, what first responders did.
Those who participate in the challenge climb the steps of Arizona Stadium and attempt to clmb the equivalent of 110 stories or 2,071 steps, which is the amount inside of the World Trade Center.
