TUCSON, Ariz.- Tucson Fire Department responded to a call yesterday evening about a house fire in the northeast area of town.
The house, used as an assisted living home, was fully evacuated prior to the arrival of TFD.
The first crew at the scene noticed smoke coming out from near the roof, which led them to believe the blaze was coming from the attic.
Additional units showed up and fought the flames from the exterior while on the roof and the first crew focused their efforts from inside the house.
The fire was put out in approximately 20 minutes, with only one part of the roof being burned.
No injuries have been reported and four of the residents have been relocated while the house will be in repair.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
