The crowds took over downtown Saturday as thousands of people were looking for a unique item or a delicious treat. It's all happening at the Fourth Avenue Spring Street Fair. Saturday was the second day of the three-day event.

One booth had the sizzle to bring many people to check it out.

"We have big, fat turkey burgers, we have polishes, hot dogs, cheeseburgers, burgers, pulled pork, barbecue pork - you know, come get it all," Aaron Walker said.

The smoke and the smell was pouring from Piggly's Barbecue on Fourth Avenue today. The person keeping you and the grill stuffed is cook Aaron Walker.

"Well, I like people to eat - grab them big turkey legs and get full and walk around here full," Walker laughed.

Walker is speaking to his audience and he has no problem giving the people what they want.

"We came to shop and get food," said Jesenia Maldonado. But, her friend Stacie Navarro quickly chimed in. "Definitely to get some good food," she laughed.

With more than 35 food vendors, the crowds can have their choice.

But, for Jerri Mani - along with the grub - she's looking for a cool find.

"Definitely something unique," Mani said. You always want to look for I think wind chimes are always unique here, portraits are always unique here - um, the people are unique - why not?"

For Walker, his first street fair has already shown him that he wants to be back next year.

"People - coming in and looking at you cooking and shopping and you know, just having a good time," Walker said.
