Several section of the Loop along the Santa Cruz River are temporarily closed due to damage caused by Sunday's storms.
Two sections are closed because fallen trees are blocking the path. The first closure is 100 yards south of West Speedway. The second is 100 feet south of West St. Mary's Road, according to a social media post from Pima County.
The east bank of the Santa Cruz Loop is also closed from south of Orange Grove to the Rillito River due to major erosion and sediment on the path.
