TUCSON, Ariz. — Thinking about taking some time off? A national travel website says the best place to enjoy your time is right at home.
Expedia just released a list of "11 cities that will inspire your staycation," and included Tucson on the list.
The site lists the Old Pueblo's hiking, arts and bustling food scene as reasons to stick around and explore. Specifically, Expedia recommends the Tanque Verde Falls trail, Ventana Canyon trail, Americano Mexicano, Alloro D.O.C. Trattoria and Chophouse, the Tucson Museum of Art and Historic Block, Southwest Indian Art Collectors Exposition and Tohono Chul.
Also on the list are Des Moines, Iowa; Lancaster, Pennsylvania; Burlington, Vermont; and Cleveland, Ohio.
