Erickson Elementary School was placed on a brief lockdown Thursday afternoon.
According to Tucson Police, officers were searching for a wanted suspect in the area which prompted the lockdown.
Karla Escamilla from TUSD said the lockdown lasted for 15 minutes and has since been lifted.
