Election Results 2022: Live Updates

Katie Hobbs overpowered Kari Lake for most of the general election. However, polls show the gap began narrowing around the middle of August.

Get more results from the2022 General Election. Results will display after 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 8 and will continuously update as new data is released.

Our reporters out in the field are bringing us live updates from watch parties around the state.

UPDATE 11:10 p.m. - Earlier this evening, KGUN 9's Craig Smith spoke with former State Senator and 2018 candidate for governor, Steve Farley.

Farley said that though many democrats are leading early as returns roll in, votes for republicans could increase as numbers from more day-of ballots are reported.

UPDATE 10:15 p.m. - AP is calling congressional races in Arizona's CD 3 and 7.

In Congressional District 3, Rep. Ruben Gallego (D) has won his re-election bid.

Rep. Raúl Grijalva (D) will represent the newly-redistricted CD 7.

HAPPENING NOW: US House of Representatives Democrat incumbent Raul Grijalva is holding his watch party where his team and family are excited about their lead in the race.

He faces Republican Luis Pozzolo tonight.

Polls closed at 7 p.m. and vote centers have begun reporting for the night in Pima County.

Look for our first batch of 2022 general election results to post a little after 8 p.m. Those will be early ballots that have been counted already. About 191,000 early ballots have been counted.
