Early morning house fire, midtown

TUCSON, Ariz. - Tucson Fire Department was called out to an early morning house fire.

TFD responded to a house fire at 6:40 a.m. near 1000 Block East Simmons Street.

Multiple 911 phone calls were made to the residence. EN20 arrived first on scene followed by other dispatch units.

TFD says, they reported smoke coming from the residence and smoke coming from the attic vents.

Firefighters were able to enter the house and look for the victims and extinguish the fire. The fire was controlled within 14 minutes.

No residents or firefighters were injured.
