TUCSON, Ariz. — The Dusenberry-River Library is now temporarily closed as work is done to improve the experience for visitors. The location on River and Craycroft is expected to reopen some time in June, but an exact date has not been set.
The Pima County Public Library says between now and mid-June, improvements are being made to update the teen and children's areas, add more seating and a new service desk, plus add new flooring and paint throughout.
Leaders say the return book chute will not be open during the closure. If you have something to return, it can be done at any other library location.
If you are looking for another library to visit in the meantime, you're encouraged to visit the following locations:
- Kirk-Bear Canyon Library, 8959 E. Tanque Verde Rd. (Tanque Verde & Bear Canyon Rd.)
- Murphy-Wilmot Library, 530 N. Wilmot Rd. (near Wilmot Rd. and 5th St.)
- Eckstrom-Columbus Library, 4350 E. 22nd (22nd St. and Columbus Blvd.)
