An alleged drunk driver is now facing a second-degree murder charge in connection to a crash from July.

Erin Eman, 32, appeared in court for an arraignment on Wednesday afternoon. Eman is facing a number of charges including second-degree murder, leaving the scene of an accident resulting in vehicle damage, and charges related to driving under the influence.

Eman is suspected of several hit-and-run wrecks leading up to the Pantano and Stella crash from July.

Hannah Parkhurst, 21, died as a result of injuries from the crash. Loved ones describe Parkhurst as loving, compassionate and caring.

According to a spokesperson for the Pima County Superior Court, Eman is out on $50,000 bond and a judge added pretrial services supervision to her release conditions.
