Man arrested after alleged road rage shooting on I-10 near 6th Avenue Thursday

TUCSON, Ariz. (KGUN) — The Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS) confirmed they received reports of shots fired on eastbound I-10 near the 261 milepost, near 6th Avenue on Thursday, April 10 around 4:45 p.m.

According to DPS, Highway Patrol and Tucson Police Department responded to what they call a road rage incident involving two vehicles on the freeway.

DPS says one of the drivers, identified as 37-year-old Robert Paul Hill of Tucson, was arrested after allegedly shooting a handgun through his rear window and into the second vehicle's windshield.

Troopers and TPD officers found Hill and took him into custody. He was booked into Pima County Jail on charges of aggravated assault and endangerment.
