DOUGLAS, Ariz. — Douglas Unified school district is set to cancel school tomorrow for harsh winter weather conditions in southern Arizona.
The group cited concerns for staff and student safety as their reason for shutting down education operations.
Douglas will also have a warming shelter available to help residents at address: 1400 10th Street. Per Matt King of the Douglas Fire Department, the shelter opens at 6 p.m. and will be open as long as is deemed necessary.
