School lockdown lifted in Douglas after armed man spotted

COCHISE COUNTY, Ariz. - A lockdown affecting all Douglas schools has been lifted after a suspicious man was spotted at Faras Elementary School.

All Douglas schools are on lockdown while police search for a man that entered Faras Elementary School unannounced wearing body armor and a sidearm.

According to the Cochise County Sheriff's Office, the man seen on campus arrived unannounced and was wearing body armor and a sidearm.

The unknown man left without notice in a black truck.

CCSO says multiple agencies assisted with a school search for any supicious items or subjects. The lockdown has since been lifted.
