Come to River Oaks Apartments this Friday for our annual Stuff the Bus food drive! We need your help to feed hungry families in Southern Arizona!
Sun Tran, HSL Properties and the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona are coming together to collect food for more than 200 agencies in our area.
Over the past 15 years, the Stuff the Bus event has collected more 200,000 food items and more than $150,000 in cash donations.
For every $1 donated, the Community Food Bank can distribute enough food for 4 meals.
Here's what they need:
- peanut butter
- canned soups
- boxed cereals
- canned fruits and vegetables
- any canned tomato products especially canned meats
- rice
- pasta
- beans
If you want to donate and say hello to the team, the KGUN9 crew will be at the HSL River Oaks apartment complex at 7730 East Broadway (just west of Pantano) until 6 p.m. today!
