Deputies from the Pima County Sheriff's Department responded to an alarm that sounded at Hohokam Middle around 3 p.m. Sunday afternoon.
Hohokam Middle used to be a part of Tucson Unified School District but was closed.
Officials from PCSD say a man ran away from deputies as they were clearing the closed campus.
After a quick foot pursuit, officers caught the man. He was taken to a nearby hospital with minor injuries obtained during the pursuit.
Charges against this man are pending.
