Cochise County search and rescue deputies saved a dog that was stranded on a cliff on Juniper Flats west of Bisbee Wednesday.
Deputies responded to the scene at 11 a.m. A woman who was drawing sketches of the mountains hiked down to an overlook. Her dog got away and ended up stuck on the cliff.
The rescue team used a dog rescue harness to move the dog to safety, lowering him 100 feet down the cliff.
The dog was not injured.
