It's the first day of school for TUSD students.
KGUN9 Carlos Herrera reports that crossing guards are out to keep students safe. There will be five crossing guards at intersections near campuses including Alvernon and 5th, 5th and Irving, and Holmes and Irving.
Drivers should be extra careful near school zones.
