TUCSON, Ariz. — The school year is wrapping up for a lot of kids in Tucson and summertime often means trips to the pool.
To help keep kids safe in the water, the City of Tucson Parks and Rec Department is partnering with the Red Cross to offer swim lessons for just $2 per 2-week session.
The first 1,400 people, ages 6 months to 17 years-old, who qualify for the city's discount program will be eligible.
In order to qualify, residents must provide four types of documentation: a picture ID, proof of Tucson residency, household size, and household income.

Summer 2019 has four swim lesson sessions:
Session 1: June 3-14
Session 2: June 17-28
Session 3: July 1-12
Sessions 4: July 15-26
