TUCSON, Ariz. — A local company is helping out teachers who use their own personal money to fund their classrooms.

Those donations came from test driving cars.

Chapman Volkswagon held a 'Drive bigger event.' That allows the community to give donations to the school by test driving every car they sell.

A total of $1,000 was raised, but it doesn't stop there.

G.M. Chapman Automotive Neb Yonas says "In this particular case we were fortunate enough that Chapman automotive group is also going to triple the money that volkswagon is providing."

Two school are getting the money, White Elementary and Johnson Primary, both on the southwest side of town.
