US Customs and Border Protection will be opening more lanes at the Mariposa Port of Entry in order to lessen traffic for people crossing.

Their pilot program will begin Oct. 30 and run Monday thru Friday from 6am-8am. Customs and Border Protection say this can become a permanent solution depending on the amount of people who use it.
People who frequently cross the border say this will help them when it comes to going to work in the morning, especially since the time CBP has opened more lanes specifically during peak traffic time.
