TUCSON, Ariz. - A Brooklyn-style deli is opening near the University of Arizona Friday.
Brooklyn Rolls is opening at 1628 E. Sixth Street,the former of location of Abe's Place, which offered Middle Eastern cuisine.
The new restaurant is from Brooklynite founder Jack Ryan.
According to its website, Brooklyn Rolls will not offer a standard menu. Its daily offerings will be up to the chef to decide which slate of cured meats, pastas, seafood and veggie dishes will be available that day.
The restaurant will have 10 craft and domestic beers on tap, and will offer drink specials when New York teams play.
"I'm from Brooklyn - deal with it," a post on the site says.
