TUCSON, Ariz. - The Sonoita-Elgin Fire District posted to Facebook Sunday evening warning residents in the Tunnel Springs area of a fire.
An evacuation request was sent out, but just after 6:50 p.m., another post said community members could return to there homes.
Officials from Sonoita-Elgin Fire say the Windmill fire was first called in just before 3 p.m. on Sunday and was burning 60 acres by around 7:15 p.m.
A helicopter and several agencies are working the fire, and there is only one structure that is considered threatened.
No word on what caused the fire.
