Body cam video shows the moment police arrested a mom at the hospital for child abuse.
Back in May, a 9-month-old baby boy died under supervision of his mother, 25-year-old Salma Rodriguez and her boyfriend 22-year-old Ivan Portillo Herrera.
According to Police reports, the couple told Tucson Police Department that the baby was laying on the couch when he rolled off and fell on the floor.
According to documents, the baby began to cry and became unresponsive.
The couple called 911 and the baby was taken to the hospital for life threatening injuries.
However, doctors say the injuries were not consistent with the fall.
Doctors discovered the baby had new and old injuries. One of the injuries, a skull fracture which lead to the childs death.
The couple is facing multiple charges including first degree murder and child abuse.
They're due back in court in September.
