BISBEE, Ariz. — The Copper Queen Library in Bisbee has been named the best small library in America.

The award was given by the publication, Library Journal. The publication created the honor back in 2005 as a way to highlight small towns, specifically the ones with populations under 25,000.

As the winner of this year's award, the Copper Queen Library will receive $5,000 and be recognized in this year's Association for Rural and Small Libraries conference.

The Copper Queen Library is the oldest library in Arizona, and is even older than the state, as it was founded in 1882. Library Journal says the Copper Queen Library receives a lot of support from the community.
