A bicyclist is in the hospital after being hit by a car on the east side Monday night.
It happened on 22nd St. between Kolb and Wilmot.
The victim is a teenager.
Sgt. Pete Dugan from the Tucson Police Department says the teen was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Those injuries have since been upgraded to serious.
The driver stayed on the scene until help arrived.
