The Arizona Game and Fish Department is warning Saddlebrooke residents of multiple mountain lion sightings that occurred recently.
There have been three sightings in the last eight days. The photo pictured above was taken on Saturday.
Game and Fish says if you see a mountain lion in your backyard, call 623-236-7201. "Then try to scare it away by standing tall, maintaining direct eye contact, waving your arms and yelling," they said in a tweet.
The mountain lion seen Saturday in the Saddlebrooke area has not been menacing, according to Mark Hart, spokesperson for Arizona Game and Fish Tucson.
Hart says images and videos from Saturday's sighting are unique in that Game and Fish receives as many as 100 calls per year of similar sightings, but only get images once a year, if that.
