The deaths are being investigated as homicides.
Mark Reynoso was set to face charges of manslaughter for a triple-fatal head-on collision on SR 77.
That accident on January 30, 2015 claimed the lives of 53-year-old Rodger D. Fugett, 49-year-old Francisco R. Calzadillas, and 34-year-old Troy A. Brownrigg.
This week's double homicide took place one day after the two-year anniversary of that triple-fatal collision.
Pinal County authorities have made no arrests in connection with this week's double homicide.
