UPDATE 8:41 a.m. 10/09:
Tucson Fire units were dispatched to the apartment building at 6:15 p.m. Reports were that multiple apartments were involved and occupants were trapped inside the structure, according to a post on TFD's X feed.
Bystanders helped evacuate the involved units before crews arrived.
The fire was updated to a second alarm at 6:20 p.m. Crews extinguished a large amount of fire before searching for more victims and completing the fire attack, the post said.
The fire was contained to one residential unit. The apartment is uninhabitable and its occupants were displaced, the post said.
No victims were found inside of the structure.
