TUCSON, Ariz. - The Arizona Department of Transportation held a safety message contest, and with more than 5,000 votes, and 15 finalists, the winning messages are. “Drive like the person your dog thinks you are”, and “ Drink and drive? Meet police and see new bars."
Both of the winning messages will appear on signs statewide throughout the weekend.
ADOT director John Halikowski stated that the messages were wonderful and because the public picked them they would hopefully carry more meaning to drivers.
