The shelter says its taking in 50 to 100 pets every day.
"The increase is due to the spring and summer breeding season being fully underway. During the breeding season, female cats quickly come back into heat after giving birth, even before their kittens are weaned," said PACC's Communications Specialist Nikki Reck.
PACC is located at 4000 N. Silverbell Road and its business hours are Monday through Friday Noon - 7:00 p.m. and 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. on weekends.
